My name is Jay Aylward and I’m the President of JFA Security. I have been in the security business for the last thirteen years as head of security, at four different Newport nightclubs. During these extensive years in this business I have seen many potentially dangerous situations handled the wrong way, resulting in a variety of problems. I knew there was a better way to deal with intoxicated patrons. As a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, I decided to start my own company to meet Rhode Island’s security needs. Through common courtesy and deescalation techniques my staff and I handle situations with a great confidence.

At JFA Security we Coordinate, Supervise and Control Security Services. We are licensed, bonded and insured. Our staff specializes in Hotel Security, Guard Services, Nightclub Security, Private Security, Special Events & Security Consultations. Through a personalized consultation we will tailor a program to suit your event, or company’s needs. We can handle large and small events, we do it all. Our responsibilities will vary depending on your needs.
